Probiotics/antibiotics at same time??

I am on my 3rd course of antibiotics in as many weeks and after this one I will be on a low dose of them for 3 months.

I have started getting bad gut rot and I think it is because of all the antibs - normally I would take some probiotics after the course has finished but this time as it is to go on at a low dose, would that be sensible? It is acidopholus (sp?)

Can I take them at the same time?

ooh I found this in unanswered threads (never realised it was there!)

will bump this for you as I have never taken the tablets or powder before so I don't know how you take it

poor you with the antibs - thought they may eventually shove you on a prophylactic dose - hopefully it will protect your poor kidney!

absolutely no point at all.

the antibiotics are killing your gut flora.

probiotics afterwards

acupuncture lovely lady. that's your treatment of choice to sort this out i reckon.

You can take them at the same time - I have to take them together otherwise I end up with raging thrush.
