hypercalcaemia
please dont panick whe you read this as it does mention one of the causes is cancer, however this is a very late sign of cancer and with it you would have other symptoms. You probably have an overactive parathyroid. speak to your GP on his return.

Thanks chapsmum, got a bit worried when i read the cancer bit but i dont have the other symptoms and its like DH has just said, these blood tests were done 6 weeks ago and i have an appointment with the hospital next month, if they suspected something serious surely they would have had me in by now.

I went to see my GP because i felt tired all the time and i cant seem to lose weight and she said it could be a thyroid problem, hope thats all it is and they can give me a miracle drug and ill be a size 8 again!!!!

lol, hope everything works out for you.
Unfortunatley para thyroid is different from the thyroid, it regullates mostly calcium (and magnesium or phospherous???) thats its main job. Though the high clacium levels oculd be making you feel bad.
Make sure to organise an appt to get your levels checked again in the near future.
