Hi,
Over the last few years about once a year I get very sore in my right side, ovary, tube area, accompanied with backache. I go to the doctors, they prod and cant fel anything, then send me for a scan, which by the time I get an appt the problem has cleared up. Ive had it now for almost two weeks, and go for my scan on Frid, its really sore more than a pain, has anyone else experienced this? Have had cysts in the past and a hydrosalphinx on my tube.

I had something thats sounds like this after I had DS2 i had scans and had everything checked out but they found nothing. I used to have it for about 2/3 weeks then get period but it wasnt period pain. It was a nagging pulling horrible pain. I started on Depo to see if it helped as pain was unbelievable and doctore couldnt see anything wrong. This worked and i have no periods. No pain. thankfully

Hi,
Makes me feel better to know I`m not the only one. I thought it was clearing up but its soooooooo sore today, front and back, sitting or standing. I go for an ultasound on Frid, then blood tests on Mon, same as last time and the time before. Its so painful you end up convincing yourself there is something more serious going on. Just fed up, had a sinus infection for over 13 weeks which is just clearing, not been a good year, and with 8 year old triplets its getting me down! Oh to be 19 years younger...........at least!

That was meant to be 10 years, too tired to go upstairs and get my reading glasses!

Just been for my scan and all my gynae bits look good, so thats that ruled out. She says it could be bowel problem as its in that area. The pain has almost gone except for some back pain which might not even be connected. Just glad to be feeling better!

Is this pain happening mid cycle?.

Has the possibility of endometriosis ever been mooted?.

Do not wish to worry you unduly but endometriosis is not picked up on either blood tests or ultrasound scans. The usual way it is daignosed is through a keyhole surgery operation called a laparoscopy.

If this problem recurs I would ask about endometriosis (this can also affect the bowel area).

Hi, I had an emergency c section 8 weeks ago and am now experiencing quite a lot of pain in my lower right stomach - should I be worried?

i had unexplained pelvic pain for 2 years. Had the laparoscopy and everything, but nothing found. I was on a low dose anti-depressant for about 8 months which helped to turn off the pain messages, and gave my body a break from the pain. When I came of these i felt better. After having my dd, it has righted itself ( the 1st dr i saw told me to have a baby, as this would sort me out!) It's horrible as there is no condition so you feel like you're moaning about nothing. I was actually hospitalized twice as I was doubled over. I sympathise, I hope you'll feel better soon

Thanks to you all. Not a mid cycle thing as I haven`t had a period for 7 years since my trio were born, you may know I am 54! Got my blood test tomorrrow, think the bowel thing maybe the culprit, something flares it up, interestingly I read that if you have had alot of antibioics in a short period of time it can inflame the bowel, I have had 4 courses in 3 months.
