Sore white spots on lips

while i was packing last night and yesterday, i was tearing the packing tape of roll with my teeth..last night lips both bottom and top in middle are really sore and have what looks like tiny blisters on them...used toothpaste(my remedy for colslaws) but nothing, using blistex, nothing..so could it be the stuff on the packing tape???
and what can i do to stop it hurting?

youve taken the skin off with the tape,I would put a little vaseline or antiseptic cream on to soothe it.

is that what it is?..didnt think that would cause spots though?

Yep, I have done it myself. When de-furring my top lip with a wax strip. They always recommend you put vaseline on your lips so as not to catch the skin. Once or twice I have forgotten. That packing tape is quite sticky stuff.

actually..am taking on a bit of an Angelina Jolie ish look theyre so swollen!!..hmm pass that packing tape!

dear god theyre killing me..keep making kissy lips to take the sting away..what can i do to sooth them???
