Need advice about my menstrual cycle

Over the last 6 months my periods have been strange. I come on - then stop around day two. Then by the end of day 3 I am very very heavy for a day or so. My cycle also changes in length (only slightly)

I have got it into my head that my periods are odd because there is something wrong with my tubes.
Is it worth going to my doctors - or is this normal?

thanks

This sounds similar to my cycle now emily, it changed drastically after having Dd. I'm going to ask them about it when I go for my smear on Monday week. I'd say if it's worrying you that it is worth going to see your doctor, even if it is only to put your mind at rest. I doubt it is tube related as I'd have thought it would either be one or the other but not both as you describe, but that's just my opinion, check with a Dr

It may be fluctuations in hormone levels that are causing this to arise. I would have thought that this is not tube related. Periods respond to hormone levels, not the fallopian tubes.

I would speak to your GP and seek a medical opinion. A blood test can be done to see what your hormone levels are like if needed.
