Hello, hello, I'm at a place called vertigo...

...apparently the reason I feel like I'm walking on a boat and feeling sick is because I have an infection in my middle ear causing vertigo. Serves me right for doing handstands in the sea last weekend and getting water in my ears.

HAs anyone had this, how long did it last? Nurse at GP's surgery says I just have to wait for it to get better, could take 2-3 weeks and I shouldn't be driving.

I know CD - I always thought vertigo was a fear of heights but apparently it's an inner ear balance thing!

How long did it last - it's driving me crazy - have had it about 5 days and it's worse when I lie down so not sleeping too well.
