For about 3 days now the heel on my right foot has really ached. It's not sore to touch but aches alot when i stand or walk on it and even aches when I put no weight at all on it.

I can't remember doing anything to it to make it so bloody painful.

Any ideas, remeides ??

nutcracker · 09/07/2006 20:57

Yeah i googled and thats what it said, but it seems there's not alot i can do about it apart from rest LOL

Bloody painful though, it's staring to make me walk odd cos i'm wary of putting pressure on it.

Oh poor you Nutcracker - I had that last year and it's incredibly painful isn't it? My GP recommended standing on the bottom stair with the affected foot half on / half off the stair and then moving your body up and down thus stretching the sole of the foot (sorry - this is much easier to show someone rather than explain in writing ) I used to do this at least twice a day for a few minutes each time and it really helped. Touch wood, my foot is fine now. HTH!

I had it when pregnant and a bit after. I saw a physio and they just said wear light springy shoes

Hmmm have been wearing ballet flats all summer, maybe thats the prob.

Oh well i'll give the stair thing a go first and if that doesn't help i'll see about som new shoes.
