have had migraines for 7 or so years, treated successfully with rizatriptan wafers, but that had to stop when got pg. I had what felt like a constant 4 month long migraine in first part of pg and then they went until I gave birth and in newborn days had a fair few too (stress or lack of sleep perhaps). been ok for a while but now having another (dd 7 months). 4head and paracetamol are not touching it of course, but it made me realise there must be thousands of others in similar position. how are you all coping and can we support each other/share ideas?

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this. My SIL had exactly the same problem but was able to rid herself of it by going to hypnotherapy. Would you be open to that?

hi pink. thanks for that. never heard of hypnotherapy for migraine. have done lots of accupuncture, cranial osteopathy and chiropractic care but never hypno. will give that a google. I did try hypno for a phobia (two courses with different practitioners) but with no success so wonder if this makes me a bad potential patient.

Reflexology or Acupunture would be an alternative safe to try.
