URGENT-how do i get sand out of dd's eye?

My dad always used to use the pointy rolled up corner of a hanky when we were little.

Shes calmed down a bit.Cries every now and then which is good for getting it out.
Still a few grains in there.

Fill a large bowl with warm water and drop a sinking toy to the bottom - is she brave enough to put her face in and look for it - as she's only 3 might be tricky. This was a trick I used when teaching reception children who threw sand!

Thanks for the advice.Shes gone to bed ok now.Eyes still a bit sore and red but shes ok.
