what could this be?

my brother has right in the middle of his forehead what looks like some sort of boil/lump.
it is big raised and has a bit of a yellow dot in it (sorry gross)
weird thing is he had it come up last year, same thing , same place.
he isn't one for going to the doc and has been putting fucidin cream on that his mate gave him!
any ideas?

Well i wouldn't recommend putting fucidin cream on especially as it is someone elses!
He should go to gp!

sounds like an infected hair follicle or something

maybe the pharmacist could advise, or the nurse at the surgery in the first instance

is it painful?
You cna use boiling water on a compress/cotton wool ballto draw the poison to the surface.
