She is in theatre at the min. It has leaked and she has a severe infection. She will need a colostomy. I am waiting by the phone.
I know quite a bit about bowel ops as my dad has bowel cancer and had his large bowel removed and a beg fitted in April but I have just googles perforated bowel ( I know, stupid) and have really scared myself.
