Sorry this isn't the most exciting thread! Grin
My left one has been killing me today, so I was poking about on the Internet to see what I could do to help it. (hospital prescribed anti-inflammatories not touching it.)
Can't link from my tablet (don't know how) - but google:
gavin burt taping hallux valgus
Sweet, blessed relief, and easy to do. Smile

I had a very painful bunion that was removed - best thing ever! Doesn't hurt at all now

I had both of mine removed, took the best part of a year (did one after the other), but no pain, can fit into shoes, was totally worth it
However, if I had been able to do something preventative earlier which would have meant no surgery, I'd've been all for it. But I was all ostrich-like and didn't want to know Sad

Sadly, I've only just been diagnosed with arthritis after years of doctors not taking any notice of me.....
The helpful consultant I saw happily informed me that in ten or fifteen years my big toes would be completely bent across. Hmm
