Hair loss and sore joints in my hands

My hair is really thinning recently and my fingers are stiff and achy. Maybe unrelated but it's happened at the same time. I'm going to try and get a GP appointment but it feels like a vague and minor complaint.

It's sounds likely to be thyroid related - have a look at hypothyroid which I think fits & perhaps hyperthyroid too

You need a full panel of thyroid blood tests, including relevant vit & mineral deficiencies - sorry insomnia has nicked my brain cells right now, so I can't remember the exact ones, but if RockinD is around, she is very knowledgeable on this subject or check out Thyroid UK

Make sure you get copies of your test results though, thyroid tests are notoriously difficult & what is a positive test varies from country to country & how its perceived by a GP so knowing the figures will help you argue your case to see an Endocrinologist if need be
