after sounding wheezy last night, ds2 (7) has been coughing up alot of phlegm this morning which to me looked greenish/bloody.

dh says it will just be dark brown not blood.

i had been giving salbutamol in the night which he was given when he wheezed with hayfever another year.

he doesn't seem to be wheezing now and isn't upset at all.

what would you think?

Nothing. Ds is also very wheezy and coughy. A couple of times he's been a bit sick in the mornings, which I put down to phlegm in his throat. It usually is greenish in colour. If he has no other symptoms then I wouldn't bother. If he sicks some up again and it still looks a bit bloody, collect it and take it to the doc, see what they say.
