ds2 who has hayfever is sounding wheezy and when he coughs (which isn't alot) he sounds really full of phlegm.
we have had trouble like this before with the hayfever and also when he ahs had a cold.
i have given him salbutamol but he's still the same.
so, do i not worry, send to school with a puff of salbutamol before he goes or do i take im off to the docs in the morning?
i have a bloody maths exam tomorrow so this is all i need!
i do suffer with anxiety and find it very hard to tell what is ott or rational thing to do.
please help me!

if the salbutamol is not having any effect then perhaps you might feel a bit more reassured trying nhs direct? personally, i think i'd be inclined to take him along to the gp, i dont think this is ott, it can be quite distressing not being able to breathe so better to get it looked at and feel assured than worrying about whether to go to the gp or not. hope this helps
