DD developed what I thought was a heat rash this afternoon all over her back. It was red and hot to the touch. I took her to the pharmacist who thought it was a heat rash too and a bit of eczema (she has had a few eczemaish patches recently)

Tonight and last night she also had temporary hivey type rashes on her face, to the side of her eye and tonight there again and on one side of her forehead. They went last night so I assume this is some heaty/allergic rash. Her back is very hot to the touch and red and she has a blanching rash over her stomach too but less severe than her back.

Another thought was that maybe she just overheated today. She has never had a problem with heat before and has been in been much hotter temps than today.

I was about to read her stories and she suddenly said she didn't want any so I took her temp and it is 101.7

Any ideas? I guess it is just a virus with a viral rash but not sure. She has had a runny nose for a few days. What does measles look like? (she is immunised)

Dd2 recently had something like this. Rash all over her stomach and a few red itchy marks on her face.
She also had a slight temp for a couple of days but other than that was fine, maybe a bit more tired than normal.

G.p said it was a virus, no treatment and just to let her eat as much or little as she liked until she felt better.

Hope your dd is better soon.
