Chuck out all out of date medicines?

I''ve just been through the medicine box and have quite a few things that have expired . Is it a real no no to use them? I'm referring to paracetamol tablets, cough and cols remedies. etc. Not prescription meds. Don't know if it's just a safeguard thing or if the efficiency runs out.

Advice please. Smile

I would get rid. Probably just an effectiveness thing but even then it's no good keeping them!

Get rid, but please take them to your pharmacist to do so. Don't just chuck them in the bin, just in case.

I would take them back to a pharmacy where they can be disposed of safely, rather than chucking them in the household rubbish

Yes, I was going to take to the pharmacy .
