mothers kidney function & white cell count down, should I worry?

she's 76, and being sent for a heart scan too, cos of some fluid on her lungs.

She says she doesn't feel ill, but she isn't very active.

I'm concerned, she's getting old quite quickly.

didn't want to ignore you! I hope your mum's scan results go well. What made your mum go for the tests in the first place?

She went to the docs cos she felt very off colour about 3 weekends ago. The doc took blood and sent her for a chest xray, and it's taken this long to get results. By now she says she feels fine, and I guess whatever it was might have gone away by now.

But if she'd had a virus or something I'd expect her white count to be up, not down.
