Autologous Serum Eyedrops / Dry eye

Has anyone had experience of Autologous Serum Eyedrops ?

Basically you donate some blood, the serum is fractionated and mixed with some saline, and you receive a 100 or so bottles to keep in the freezer.

There are quite a few papers suggesting it is very effective in a range of ocular surface disorders, most commonly dry eye.

That's interesting cumfy. Not hears about it but my Dad suffers with dry eye quite badly.

I know that serun drops are made for some patients in the NHS with very specific autoimmune disorders, but haven't tried it myself.
