MMR Boosters?

My dd started nursery school in april, today my friend whos son starts in sept although is 5 months older than her, had his mmr pre school booster yesterday.
i didnt realise they needed one?
rang gp who said shes dowwn to have booster august..is she at risk because of already being at school until then??or am i flapping for nothing????

The pre-school jabs aren't boosters as such - they're to protect the kids who didn't get immunity from the shot at 15 months(ish). If she developed immunity then, then she's protected.

Jimjams, my DD had her first MMR in August last year (at age 3) The Health Authority have sent me an automatic notice that her 2nd MMR is due. This will be less than a year since her first one. She also has d/aP/T and polio boosters due. Should I just ask for the others and not the 2nd MMR?

and where i am, theres been a big outbreak of measels?is this more cause for concern over lateness of booster?
