Ready brek best of the lot but it's only milled oats.
Don't go overboard on milk either.Do water only or half and half.
Porridge wonderfully soothing.Dh's hangover cure.

NP i use sainsburys bog standard one in a see thru packet with purple band on it.
and i use the taste the diff one for flapjacks!

I'd keep a food diary, actually.

Oats bloat me (and give me lots of other exciting IBS symptoms I can tell you about if you really want). I can eat any amount of wheat, but one bowl of porridge and I look like a space hopper.

nailpolish · 28/06/2006 08:03

ok, day 1 of non-bread lifetime diet

(although am worried about MI's oat post)

had muesli for brekkie
watched dd's eat doorstep toast and butter jealously

will start with avoiding wheat, then if i still feel bloated will remove oats too

?

have u got oats in oyur diet already?
and tbh if not and you feel bloated i would think u wont have problems with oats, and once u give it a week without bread see how u are feeling.
its trial and error really

nailpolish · 28/06/2006 10:52

i have oats in muesli which i sometimes have for breakfast, but i prefer toast

MD im not talking to you, you started a thread slagging off my fruit washing question
