Anyone's DCs have experience of a Medium Opening Activator Brace

(I posted in chat by mistake so reposting here.)

Just that really.
DS2 was due to have twin blocks but other issues with his mouth mean he'll be having a MOA instead. He's really nervous about it and I'd just like more info from a wearer's POV.

I wore one (a long time ago) but the biggest problem with it was that I would leave it lying around the house (for the dogs to chew!) but I can't really recall WHY other than I hated it! (I went on to have maxillary expanders and train tracks - which I would still have needed I thin even if I had worn my first brace more consistently.)

Hopefully someone with more up-to-date experience will be along soon.
