Any ideas what it could be.
I've just done a pregnancy teat which was negative. It almost feels like early pregnancy movements & has been going on intermittently for a couple of months now. It's really strange. Not sure if I should bother with the GP or not...

Test, not teat!
Also I should add I've had other symptoms including strange short & v light periods and food aversions similar to those I had when I was pregnant.

Have you lost something in there?

Thiscoukdbeme · 27/09/2013 22:38

Just trapped nerve sort of thing? I got this a bit when studying at a desk a lot.

Hmm, I suppose you could be pregnant but at a stage where a home pregnancy test can't detect the HCG level because they only measure between certain levels?

Thiscoukdbeme · 27/09/2013 23:00

Really member, when can't they be detected? I didn't know that was the case! I did have bleeding almost every month with DS. Oh god, I really wasn't planning another one.... Shock

Although I did do a test a couple of months ago, this was because I just felt pregnant. That was also negative.

Sounds like little bubbles of wind to me.

gingeroots · 28/09/2013 12:11

I once googled this and found it was not uncommon .
But unexplained !
I know what you mean I went through a phase of this and it felt like a phone just starting to vibrate .

Are you under a bit of stress at the moment. sometimes extended periods of pressure can cause your body to react in a nervous, twitchy, buzzy way. This would also be consistent with having a difference in your periods, change in hormone levels and sensitivities to food . You could see whether it passes on relaxation or have it officially checked out via your G.P. If you start getting any areas of numbness then that it a different thing and definitely worth a check up.

If you thik pregnancy is a possibilty, google the hook effect, it explains why poas doesn't work later on. Diluting your urine will help

As others have said though, it could be as simple as a trapped nerve or stress
