I've always had a regular 32 day cycle. within the last 3/4 months it has gone down by 1 or 2 days each month where it is now 27 days. last month was 28. is this normal?

Mine seem to be getting closer together. Used to be 35 days now more like 28. Also they got heavier for a while.

I have put it down to being over 40 and so has my GP.

I am 43 & the last few months have had 26 or 27 day cycles. Used to be 30-32. GP says that's normal at my age due to hormonal levels changing.

Mine are getting closer together too. GP not remotely concerned and says it's all part of the long, long path towards menopause.

OP
You are too young for the menopause. Perhaps you are becoming more regular as in the 28 day cycle? That does mean probably an extra period per year. Mine were always 28 days on the dot, but reduced to 23-26 in my 40s Confused. Have you been on a diet these last few months as that could affect it or doing lots of exercise?

Just remembered an old work colleague who gave Badminton evening classes and the women were falling pregnant like flies. Not by him although he was gorgeousGrin. He thought it was the exerciseHmm

Grin

That is brilliant! Badminton causing pregnancy!
diet still the same and no excercise Blush
