This morning I was completely fine, but as soon as I stood up to take dd to nursery I couldn't walk. My right leg feels heavy the pain is at the top on the inside and it hurts when I try and lift it, so it absolutely kills when I try and walk. I have laminate, so I've tried dragging my leg and that's just as painful.
After I've been walking it seems to get a little bit better but if I rest, then stand it becomes really painful.

I think you need seeing by your GP today.

SleepingWithABrokenHeart · 27/09/2013 13:27

No chance of that. You have to ring at 8:30am to get an appointment.

36 weeks pregnant if that.s any help.

Can you call your HV to come and see you at home? It will be SPD probably as with me it affected that area as well as many others. I had crutches for the last couple of months. Could anyone else collect your DD until you have got yourself sorted?

Symphysis Pubis Dysfuncion?

If so, a chiropractor will most likely be able to help.

Try ring your gp anyway.

I think I'll ring the docs and see if they can get somebody to just give me a call if they can't see me. I have dd now, it was this morning it started. I did think maybe SPD.

Off to the Dr's for you. At 36 weeks you should be classed as a priority patient anyway. Good luck! babies can press on nerves, all manner of things but needs checking.

If its SPD does the pain get better after taking paracetamol? I took some and I can walk a bit better now, although it still does hurt a little.

I rang the docs who told me to ring the midwife because she couldn't get through to a doctor at the time, none of the midwife numbers I have are available, so I'll call back to see what they say.
