Because I have a dreadful cold/cough I have felt generally yucky and havent felt like drinking tea or coffee but in the 2 days without I have developed a severe headache and feel generally worse in myself. Can caffeine withdrawal cause such bad feelings?I am now considering giving it up all together

Yes it can/does. I get very grumpy and headachey if I don't have my morning cup!

Yep, i went on a dettox and felt sooo sooo bad, i was knackered had terrible headaches and couldn't stop sleeping. I felt like i was coming off something really lethal. So i drank a pint and have never tried to stop since

Definitely! Went to New York for almost a fortnight and all their tea and coffee seem to be decaf. After a week I was feeling really quite lousy, never mind constipated (first morning cuppa normally does the trick IYKWIM!) So in the end had to ask the local bar where we went quite regularly if they had caffeinated coffee and felt better after a couple of days of that!

Coffee in NY is appalling!!!

i am a caffine addict. if i miss my morning cuppa then by 11 i feel awful and snappy. maybe i should try and get decaff but i need my fix, its worse than wanting a ciggy for me.

I went off coffee during 1st pregnancy and now only drink one weak, milky latte every day, which I'm drinking right now
