I am soooooooooo scared

It is right up in the gum and I am being sedated for them to remove it

I think they will be either going in from outside {by the cheek} or from inside the roof of my mouth

Has anyone had it done before?

Please can someone make me feel better about having it done

please tell me I will be ok and what it was like for them

Just seen this. Poor you, sounds horrible. Hope you feel better soon. Sleep as much as possible to give your body time to recover.

Yes I have been asleep most of the morning and am sitting in bed atm with the laptop

The dental surgery place have just rung up to ask after me and she said how shocked they were as to how hard it was to get out -- that the xray hadn't really given it as being in such a difficult position

Thank goodness it is out now and so I just have to wait for it to heal up. I was very teary this morning and was crying my eyes out for no particular reason

The tears are probably due to the sedation, I often have patients who say they felt a bit teary/low after having sedation, it will soon pass.

Hi RTK I ahd 4 wisdom teeth removed last September under GA and I was very tearful. It's a chinese proverb apparantly taht teeth are our friends and we mourn their loss apparantly

Oh I see, I have spent the afternoon asleep
