How long till I have abs of steel?

Does it count if you have to pick the hoop up every 6 seconds?

Will the neighbours be shocked? (I did it in the bedroom with the curtains drawn)

Will I be in total agony tomorrow morning and unable to roll over in bed?

Has anyone else tried it and does it actually work?

lol
Can think of easier ways.
May do wonders for your sex life though???
All that writhing.

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 20/06/2006 13:23

I can't do it - am rubbish.

moondog - did you manage your extra 1k?

FrannyandZooey · 20/06/2006 13:23

Yes it looks completely filthy when you get it right Shock

I HAVE BEEN MEANING TO GET A HULA HOOP MYSELF (Whoops sorry about caps) is'nt it supposed to be very good for toning your whole middle section?

FrannyandZooey · 20/06/2006 13:34

Gym?
Aerobics?
Saggars,am psyching myself up to do it tomorrow.
I really need to venture outside though.
Worried,as I bet it's harder in the great outdoors.

I went to a step class last night for the first time ever.
Am fairly fit but surprised how it stretched me.i can understand what they mean now about varying routines.

FrannyandZooey · 20/06/2006 13:36

How is paying a membership fee, getting a babysitter and going to the gym easier than hula hopping in my bedroom for 15 mins?

OP posts:
moondog · 20/06/2006 13:38

Fair enough.
It's my social life though, and escape from the children.
I think an aerobics class is fun.

harpsichordcarrier · 20/06/2006 13:38

were you in the nude??

FrannyandZooey · 20/06/2006 13:39

HC, I have told you before, I am only answering questions like that after you have rung my 0898 number and given your credit card details

Easier outside moondog - running not naked hula-hooping Shock

Yes - a cless gets to those 'hidden' muscles!

moondog · 20/06/2006 13:59

Easier you say???!!
That has cheered me up!
How so exactly??

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 20/06/2006 14:33

I find you can vary your pace easier on the tough bits. When I'm struggling I set myself markers, next bridge, the bus stop etc. And it's less boring. But you do get the teenage boy comments and the lorries tooting at you Smile

moondog · 20/06/2006 15:29

What do the teenage boys say?
And what do you say back??

Mercy · 20/06/2006 15:52

Franny, get yourself a skipping rope. You can skip indoors or out - it's really good exercise.

FrannyandZooey · 20/06/2006 16:32

Mercy, maybe...I have a dodgy foot which doesn't respond terribly well to impact.

Whenever I put on weight it's round my middle and I have been promised a hula hoop will sort that out :)
