Finding a dentist (Kingston area).

I've been putting off a painful tooth for months now mostly because I can't be bothered with NHS beauracracy and waiting lists. I've never had a dentist in this country. So, how does one go about finding one. I guess I'll have to go private? And if so what does one doe for insurance? I have BUPA through work, but it doesn't cover dental.

But, I don't thinkI have much chance of getting into a NHS dentist. So, how would I find a private one? Does anyone live around Kingston/Twickenham and surrounding who could possibly recommend a good one?

but you might be surprised with nhs practices - there may be openings for new patients in kingston or hampton etc etc

Hi, I'm in Teddington and there's a very good private dentist-called, I think, Park Road Dental Practice on Park Road (obviously Grin)-I've used them and so have many people I know and I"ve never heard anything bad.

Uwila - you never know. I got into an NHS dentist when we moved to Kew - had to cross the water to Chiswick, but was handy for my journey into work. So, don't assume you'll have to go private!

I also found a really good NHS dentist in Feltham called Toothkind-I didn't have any prooblems joining at all.
