Ok, so for the past 2 weeks ive been suffering with severe panic disorder, been given beta blockers and diazipam, diazipam seems to be working a little...I have all the same symptons....adrenaline rushes, felt my throat closing, shaky, pins and needles in my arms, aches and pains every where, feeling like my head is being squeezed, nearly passing out the list is endless, I hate going to the docs for this, I have suffered panic attacks in the past but never for this long, I have 2 small children so need to be ok for them, I literally haven't been able to lift my head some days from feeling so rubbish, when I go to the docs they never seem interested, and just sit and stare at me like im talking some foreign language! ! Really annoys me!! So after reading this im going to the docs and demanding this bloody coil out! I was pursuaded to have the marina coil after my youngest was born, was a little apprehensive, I just wanted to get steralised but agreed to have it fit, been just over a year since having it pit in, im on my way to the docs first thing monday morning!! Thank you everyone, I now know im not the only one going through this!! :-) x

I had exactly that. I just had mine out on Thursday. I feel calmer, less irritable and I don't have smelly armpits any more. I'm sure it is good for some people but I really regret getting it! So yes I would ask for it to be removed (nowhere near as bad as going in).
