Yesterday I was out with DD when she complained of a sore tummy. Could not do anything as we are on the bus at the time.

On the way home she again complained of a sore tummy. I could not do anything at the time as we were on the bus. Got into Sutton Coldfield and changed buses to get home. While on the 2nd bus shew said it was really bad, so decided to get off early and go to the chemist. Just as I got off the bus she threw up all over her clothes, ran to the chemist and she threw up a 2nd time while I was running.
Chemist said it was probably just the heat and to make sure she drinks plent of water.
Just missed a bus home so had to walk, which took about 25 minutes. I stripped her off, put the clothes to soak and put her in a nice cool bath.
We we put her to bed last night she seem to be burning up, but could not find the thermomter. Made sure she had plenty of water to drink. She woke at 4.50am still very hot,i took her into out bed and gave her some more water from the bottle I had at my bedside.
She said earlier she had a sore head and tummy and managed to take some nurofen liquid at the time.
As I type she is sitting beside be drawing, but has a bowl by her just in case.
We were meant o be going to Shrewbury Kite festival this morning but daren't risk it as she says she is still feeling a bit sicky.
I have since found the thermomter and her temp was 38.8c

Have any WISE MUMSNETTERS got any advice as to what this could be?

TIA
