Bladder pain has gone, would you still go to the doctors?

I've had stabby bladder pains, creeping up to Left kidney, for two days and intended to go to the gp today, however, after a good sleep the pain seems to have gone, so should I still go to gp?

I would, especially as it was creeping up towards the kidney. Better to catch it now if its an infection.
