Ordinarily I don't drink a lot. Typically little more than a pint a day. Maybe 2 pints on a good day (squash/fizzy drink).

Last 2-3 days I have been drinking more for me. Probably 4-6 pints. I very rarely get thirsty between meals usually.

Last night I was up at least 3 times in the night for the loo. I have also needed the loo much more frequently than usual during the day (goes with drinking more I guess).

I don't have symptoms of cystitis (no pain. No smell. No cloudiness). When I go each time it is a decent volume not a dribble. Appears normal 'concentration' as well, not dilute.

I am not excessively worried (could actually be a side effect of some meds im on, but been on them a coupld of months with no problems) but feel it is worth checking. I have spent a lot of time at drs lately with long standing issues and some trivia (but very teal)l things interspersed. I'm am starting to look like a hypochondriac.

I right in thinking some pharmacies do a test cheap/free?..

It used to be Lloyds the chemist that did a free diabetes test, I had one a few years ago. I'm sure they must still do it.

Thanks will check it out.

I just feel I am hassling my gp a lot lately so would feel more comfortable going elsewhere initially.

(Or maybe I am completely overthinking it)

No harm in checking, I did it as family history and had been drinking a lot.

Was fine, but still good to know.
