Hard Lump in pubic hair area

I found a hard lump in my pubic hair area a couple of weeks ago. It is the size of a big grape and hurts if I touch it. Any ideas?

I had this once and it just went away it was just a cyst, it went down by itself try not to worry

Oh, I didn't mean to make you worry OP, just that it would be best to have a GP diagnose it rather than the internet. It is probably just a cyst but its best to be safe than sorry, might just need some antibiotics to help it go away.

I had this. Had it checked out and it was an ingrowing hair. Always best to make an appointment for reassurance

PICKLED, sorry to be gross but what did it look like? I have found a small oval lump with black large dot in middle, hard to touch, mobile under my finger... dot doesn't look obviously hairlike.

Probably ingrowing hair but if you're worried to to Gp.

If it gets a head on it though you'll have to sound the klaxon for the sporners Wink

I had this once and the doctor said it was some kind of gland that was infected. He prescribed me antibiotics (quite a big dose that made the pharmacist a little uncomfortable), and then it went away pretty quickly.

I've had this. A small permanent lump, actually quite close to my bits, and had it there for years. Had one years ago, squeezed it and eventually it burst out lots of puss, sorry, TMI. Tried squeezing this one and it bled. Not sure if it came from the lump or if I broke the skin.

Could it be a Bartholins cyst? It's when the Bartholins gland gets infected and swells. I had it a long time ago.

I had an in growing hair, when it finally came out it was really tightly wound and about a foot long. I had fun squeezing that one!

I've had a few of these, always a cyst / in growing hair that's got infected.
I've need abs quite a few times.
Now I don't shave / wax but have a number 1 all over. I'm now lump free Grin
