which is the best way?

sorry for a boring question but the benedryl for ds2 (hayfever) says either 10ml in the morning or 5ml morning and 5ml night.
which is best? does anyone know?

I give DD 10ml in the morning to get her through the school day but her eyes are still puffy and red by the evening. Might try 5 and 5 tomorrow to see if its any better because she's so uncomfortable at night. No help really !

An ice pack on swollen eyes is really good, makes the puffiness go away. Maybe you could do the 10ml in the morning and apply ice in the evening.
DS keeps getting swollen eyes, but the Dr is unable to diagnose hayfever at the moment due to the lack of any other symptoms.

if 5ml doesn't make him drowsy or anything then am i right to think 10ml won't either?
