Pain in/behind right rib, feels like pregnancy.

Hi,

I am not pregnant, I know this for sure.

But I have a pain what feels behind my right hand rib, that feels like I did when I was 35 weeks plus, and the baby was turning but there was no room! Hope that makes sense. (Had DS 14 months ago so the feeling is fresh in my mind)

It is painful but bearable, hurts when I take a deep breath in.

Could any of you good people give me some insight into what's going on with my body?!

Liver? I get pain there sometimes. Funnily enough out was worse when pregnant as my liver couldn't cope too well with all the hormones! When I'm ill it aches there. Always my liver, no real reason for it, it's just temperamental!

Thanks for the reply, I will make a doctors appointment today, I'm hoping its something that can be cured and I don't have to live with it!

i have costochondritis. it started when i was 35 weeks pregnant, (that was 8 years ago) and it never went away. when it's active, it feels like i've been kicked in the upper ribs. LH side only.
flares up now and again, can be sore but will usually settle down after a few days.
am not on medication or physio for it either.
