I have reoccurent sore throat, aching neck and with the ear fullness light headed. This has been going for for years and years. Particularly worse after 2nd pregnancy. I have no illness, no allergies, nothing but this every 6-12 week aliment is wiping me out.
This week its been unbearable my throat is burning down in the windpipe and have been feeling totally out of it and so ill.
Went to the GP and gave me the usual rubbish about sinuses etc until I came up with the possibility of night time acid. I have medication which is now my 3rd day but no improvement yet Last night my throat was agony and swallowing was so painful.
Anyone confirm that this sound like GORD? If so when will these pills kick in? If its not GORD then what tests should I insist on having? My understanding is catarrh is caused by something but as yet found nothing.
