Its really trial and error. I've had hayfever all my life and I've tried em all. I find they all make me drowsy to some extent coz they all have the same ingredients. There was one ace one i took a few years ago, but it was taken off the market for some reason. Now I take Boots own brand 1 a day ones.

Should have said.... I find it best to take the One-a-Day type, but take it at night, rather than morning. That way I seem to sleep off the worse of it, but still get the protective benefits during the next day.

God it's been terrible this week, hasn't it? Haven't had it this bad for ages. benadryl/zirtek (have the same active ingredient) usually work as well as any for me and aren't sleep inducing but this last week has been really bad even having taken them. Bought some otrivine antihistin eyedrops today and they are good if you have sore eyes as part of the hayfever. Hope you feel better soon, noddy.
