My head feels like somone is hitting me with a brick!

I feel very sick and moving is making my head worse.
The pain has spread down my back and I could honestly weep
I've taken some ibroprophen and it's not any better
Is there anything I can do?

Not being alarmist or unhelpful, but if it's that bad I would call your GP and ask for advice. Hope you feel better soon.

Sounds like a migraine...if it's the first time then you should go to GP, but also: try some migraine meds from pharmacy, and drink lots of water to hydrate.

I posted my op with my eyes almost closed (could you tell?!)
I think it is/was a migraine.
I've had headaches before, but not like this.
Dh came back from work early to watch the Dc and he made a makeshift blackout blind for my room. I must have sounded rough, he would normaly get a bit shirty if I asked him to come home early!

My head still hurts and I feel rotten, but I'm not crying in pain now so I think it must be passing. If it still bad in the morning I'll bother the dr.
