Why do I feel like I need to wee all the time when I don't?

It's really weird, it's not urgency or anything, just this feeling that I need to go, even when I've just been.

I've been having an IBS flare-up for the last couple of weeks but I don't know if that could be linked.

Any ideas?

Coz you've got a UTI? It doesn't always come with a burning sensation - is your urine smelly or cloudy?

YDdraigGoch · 23/07/2013 09:55

Could it be cystitis?

nurseneedshelp · 23/07/2013 09:58

UTI

Really? I've never had one before, I thought there was always burning.

I'm really bloated too, can a UTI cause that?

Sounds like cystitis to me. Drink lots of water, and get some Cymalon

IHeartKingThistle · 23/07/2013 20:29

OK, I really don't want antibiotics!

You can normally clear cystitis without antibiotics. Plenty of water and those sachet things are good but they taste horrendous. There are different brands (but they all taste horrid). Cranberry juice is supposed to be good too but not at the expense of water.

However - if you have a sort of ache in your lower back a bit like a period pain but at the back or very early labour (but less painful and one-sided) then go and see your GP ASAP as this can be a sign that the infection has gone into your kidneys which can be dangerous.

Duly noted. Thanks Smile
