Any recommendations? FIL seems to be getting v slow treatment under NHS despite cancer being confirmed. He is happy to go private!

Thanks

This is not the answer to your main question, but I just wanted to assure you that prostate cancer is (usually) a very slow growing cancer.

DH was on a waiting list for 6 months to receive treatment after his cancer was confirmed. We were willing to pay for private treatment but were assured that he would not be put in any danger through waiting this long.

Two years on he is doing wonderfully.

My Dad had private treatment in London (not Kent side though - suspect Harley St, though not sure) for his prostate cancer about five years ago. He was very happy with his doctor, and all the care he received. He was 80 at the time, is now 86 and very well indeed Smile

If Harley St isn't too far, let me know and I'll find out name of place/doctor for you.
