Does this sound like head lice?

On Sunday DD had a brown coloured insect in her hair - I looked after noticing her scratching. That night combed it through with one of those combs and conditioner.

Last night after school noticed browny and whitey looking bits iner hair near the scalp....

Got a mousse and applied, washed out and again did the combing. Lots of crown bits were combing out.... Not had this before so not sure if it is or isn't.

Opinions please Smile

Sounds like nits. Keep combing, and alert your DD's nursery/school/friends.

Done that and planning on combing for at least a week. Although the chemist said it may take longer - till I can't see them any more he said!

Ironic eh? We move out of a not so nice area of London to leafy Surrey and within three weeks she gets her first ever bout of nits!
