High temp in hot weather is it heat/sun stroke?

The kids and I 1.5y/o and 2.5y/o have been out playing in sun for a couple of days and now 1.5y/o has got a temp. Could it be caused by too much sun? Temp gets to about 38.7 and reduces with paracetamol for about 3 hrs please help. Thanks.

it can be
use the cold cloth to cool down
make sure he is properly hydrated keep him in shadow and lower temperature

it can take a few days to come back to normal
but ofcourse if the symptom get worst look for medical help
