Slipped disc 1 year ago but still can't do straight leg raise

Just seeking some advice about whether I should worry or not.

Slipped dic L4/5 and a bit at L3/4 in May 2012, and it's been niggling ever since with a bit of a relapse this May. I had an MRI last year and again more recently. The consultant is keeping an eye and I'm to go back next year to see if it's deteriorating or stable.

The thing that's bothering me the most is that I just can't do a straight leg raise using my left leg at all - it just doesn't move. Should I be worried about ongoing nerve damage or is it just one of those things I need to put up with?I'm lucky that I don't have too much pain, just pins and needles and the inability to lift my left leg up!

I'd appreciate any advice

TIA

I would see a physio asap tbh.
