I took it the day after, so it should have shouldn't it ? It needs to have worked, I cannot be pregnant.

It should be absolutely fine, 24 hours later it is very very likely to work.

poshbeaver · 01/07/2013 17:03

I took it 12 hours later, ds is sat next to me!

Fingerstightlycrossed · 01/07/2013 17:05

I would have done. Surprise and shock didn't cover it! When I rang the doctor and told him, he said that never happens, it always works! Keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Fingerstightlycrossed · 01/07/2013 17:22

Thanks Posh
I sound awful saying that I hope i'm not pregnant when so many other people out there would be thrilled to be in that position, but my circumstances are just so not good.

Fingers bless you .

I think it's so usual for it to work that people will be posting to say " it didn't work for me " because it's more interesting than thousands saying "yes it worked for me " .
Or perhaps those of us in that large group for whom it did work feel a little sad or whatever about having to take that difficult decision .

Whatever ,it worked for me .
And it was the right decision for me ,not one that I've ever regretted .
And I'm sure it will be the same for you .

Thanks gingeroots.

Have had stomach ache all day, so I'm pretty confident that my period will arrive as planned Smile

Nice hot bath and TV night .

Hmm well, no sign of period yet, but have done two tests (on thursday and today) and they were negative.

Have been feeling slightly queasy, but that could be the worry i think.

Still got fingers crossed, it is just late.

I took it quite a few times. I always bled after a few days.

One time I didn't bleed after a few days. Ds4 sitting here watching Curious George lol!!

I took it the very next morning too.

Anyway,it does work almost all the time. You will be fine!

Runwayqueen · 06/07/2013 16:19

It didn't work for me either and it was taken within a few hrs. Sadly once i got my head round it i mc a week later

Damnautocorrect · 06/07/2013 16:23

Under 12 hrs for me too, ds is watching Mickey Mouse club house!
I did hear the more you take it the less effective it is.

Pack leaflet says it can muck up your cycle by 5 days, so you could still be OK.

I've taken it 3 times, and no PGs at those times.

Fingerstightlycrossed · 06/07/2013 20:08

It is the first time i've ever taken it.

I'd forgotten it said it can muck your cycle up. Hopefully thats it then.

I need to tyr and stop thinking about it now, cos it's stressing me out which isn't going to help either.

I know this is personal and none of my business etcetera but, if you didn't want your pregnancies why did you go on to have your dcs? Did you change your minds or did it feel different once you got a positive?
