Have you been eating anything different? Do you feel unwell?

DonutForMyself · 30/06/2013 23:36

No nothing odd to eat, that's why I'm a bit confused! Googled it and found mention of a fungal infection! Anyone had similar or is it just me?

Oh I have one at the moment too! Can't put it down to anything new I have eaten or drunk. Not eating anything orange coloured either. The only new thing is I am now taking citalopram - doesn't say anything about orange tongues in the list of side effects.

Does your tongue feel extra dry, like sandpaper? Does it hurt, not only eating but even when you are trying to talk?

If "yes" to either, you might have an infection.

minmooch · 01/07/2013 16:07

No - not dry or sore. Just orange!

DonutForMyself · 01/07/2013 16:40

Mine feels a bit numb but not sore, have tried googling it and not much mention of it, but a couple of links did mention a fungal infection (eww!)

I think I may have thrush so taken tablet for that and hope it gets rid of the tongue too!
