Would a steroid inhaler cause green poos in a 15 month old?

Dd has had the inhaler since Monday night and since Tuesday lunchtime she has had very loose poos almost the same as her newborn bf poos. Tonight they have turned dark green and smell vile.

The only thing she has eaten different this week to any other week is a bowl of malted wheaties for breakfast never to be repeated after seeing the sugar content Angry dp.

Other than these two things nothing else has been any different, she bf 4 times a day and I haven't eaten anything odd.

Any ideas please?

I'd be surprised if it was the inhaler tbh as it's not digested iykwim?

Maybe a stomach bug? You could maybe phone NHS and ask if the inhaler could be causing it.

Thank you for replying, I spoke to the doctor today and he said, like you, that it was unlikely and just to keep an eye on her.

She seems fine in herself and is eating well as normal so I shall no longer worry Smile .
