I've lost 100ml of blood today

I can be exact as its 5 full mooncups.
Been breakthrough bleeding since 7th June.

Got horrible palpitations, dizziness and shortness of breath (typical anaemia symptoms for me) so glugging Spatone.

GP has me on mefenemic acid, tranexamic acid and norethisterone to try to get bleeding under control and has taken me off combined pill and back on the Cerazette.

Just praying I start feeling human soon...

That sounds rough. Glad your Dr is trying things, but does (s)he know quite how much blood your loosing daily? Can you record it for the next few days, and let them know?

Also, do you think you might need something stronger than spatone if your already anaemic? I was under the impression it was good for slight blood iron increases, but not from anaemic to normal?

Defo keeping a record. Finally though I think the mess are doing something. It's not stopped but it's better.

Anaemia symptoms only started after surgery closing so whiz zed over to pharmacy. Will get that properly sorted with doc tomorrow.
