Headache and migraine sufferers, I have a question for you!

When you have a bad headache or migraine has you ever experienced what happened to me last night?

One of my eyes was droopy and the other was wider than normal.

It was quite freaky. My kids said I looked like a zombie.

I've never had that symptom with a migraine before. I was worried for a while but since I could use other muscles properly I reasoned it wasn't a stroke.Blush

My brother had this once. The whole side of his face dropped, his eye was practically closed.

Took him to A&E who immediately suspected Bell's palsy.

It wasn't though, it was just a particularly bad migraine.

If its not normal for you, please mention it to your Gp.

I quiet often get a droopy eye and lip with migraine - similar to Bell's palsy but it always rectifies itself post migraine.

Dp and the kids can always tell by looking at me that I have a migraine so my face must do something odd. Nothing,as obvious as a droopy eye though might be worth asking the gp if it's something to be concerned about

Really bad migraines I get slurry words, weird vision and feels like one side of my face is paralysed and drooping - often spreads down into my arm on that side.

I believe they lump it in under 'aura'.

If I don't hit the zomig when that starts then I've got a 3-dayer on the way.
