Instead of booking a man to make us a patio DH arrived with a car packed full of sacks of bricks, balast, cement and all sorts of horrible heavy man stuff. Then a van delivered onto the pavement outside my door loads of big slabs to make a patio. All this had to got through the house, down two flights of stairs, into the garden then down two more lots of steps to get to the patio spot.
After all the lifting I conked out for two hours.
I was at the tail end of my period but then over the next two days I bled loads. (I don't have heavy periods normally) and leaked. I also felt washed out at work next day and came home early.
Anyway the doc had a look and said, 'it's all from inside the womb. Normal period stuff. Can't make any link with the lifting.'
